B. RESOLUTION NO. 93-RE-SAP-R-592 A RESOLUTION APPROVING RES. NO.
AN AMENDMENT TO THE EMPLOYEE PAY PLAN FOR NON-UNION 93-RE-SAP-R-5S
EMPLOYEES FOR 1993: AMENDMENT TO
Pursuant to the Board's direction following its Closed Meeting of July PWYJOURNEYMAN
13, 1993, the Public Works Journeyman position (Grads 5) is being TO
eliminated and a new position of Public Works Foreman (Grade 9) is PW FOREMAN
being created; and in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act,
this exempt position shall be included in the list of exempt
employees.
Trustee Skinner moved to pass Resolution No. 93-RE-SAP-R-592
approving amendments to the 1993-Employee: Pay Plan for Non-Union
Employees for 1993, effective July 27,.1993, eliminating the Public
Works Journeyman position (Grade 5) and creating a new position of
Public Works General Foremen (Grade•9) and waive the frill reading
thereof. Seconded by Trustee Bartecki. ROLL CALL VOTE:
Ayes: 5 - Trustees Bartecki, McInerney, Payovich, Shumate
and Skinner.
Nays: 0 - None.
Absent: 1 - Trustee Kenny. Motion carried.
C. RESOLUTION NO. 93-FLSA-R-593 A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE RES. NO.
FAIR LABOR STANDARDS ACT POLICIES FOR THE VILLAGE OF 93-FLSA-R-593

Trustee Skinner moved to pass Resolution.No. 93-FLSA-R-593 EXEMYT
amending the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) policies for the
Village of Oak Brook effective July 27, 1993 to include the position of
Public Works General Foreman (Grade 9) as an exempt position and
waive the full reading thereof. Seconded by Trustee Bartecki.

and Skinner.
Nays: 0 - None.

VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK RELATING TO LEAVE OF ABSENCE AND.
PURSUANT TO THE FAMILY AND MEDICAL LEAVE ACT OF 1993: PERSONNEL RME

On August 5, 1993, the federal Family and Medical Leave Act becomes MEDICAL LEAVE
effective. This draft ordinance essentially reiterates certain key ACT of 1993
provisions of this Act and provides that, "Leave shall be taken in
accordance with the provisions of this Act".
