Powers, Village Manager SUBJECT: Amendment to Fair Labor Standards Act Policy In addition to Attomeyy Martens'recommendation regarding the above-mentioned subled as a matter of"housekeeping".It is recommended that the Administrative Assistant pQion be deleted from our Fair Labor Standards Act Policies. The former Administrative Assistant position created In 1987, under the Administration Department, was an exempt position and listed in our FLSA policies. When this position was deleted from our Pay Plan in 1990, it was not deleted from our FLSA policies. In September 1992,the Administrative Assistant position was again added to our Pay Plan, under the Finance Department, however, this is a non-exempt position. I therefore it recommend that the Administrative Assistant position be deleted from our Fair Labor Standards Act policies. Respectfully submitted, Margaret C. Powers"" Village Manager MCPYmr l it L. I
