A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ADTAORIEED AGENT j
REPRESENTING THE VILT•:.AGS OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS
IN THE ILLI10IS MUNICIPAL RETIF MENT FUND

WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook, pursuant to Ordinance S-192 passed
December 9, 1969, first elected to participate in the Illinois Municipal
Retirement Fund; and
WHEREAS, Section 5/7-135 of Chapter 40 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes
requires each participating municipality in the Illinois Municipal Retirement
Fund to appoint an authorized agent; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook, pursuant to Resolution R-438 passed
November 24, 1987, provided that the Village Treasurer automatically be
designated as the IMRF authorized agent; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution R-438, Margaret C. Powers became the
IMRF authorized agent when she was appointed Village Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, while a new Village Treasurer has been appointed, this Board
finds that �:W_garet C. Powers, recently appointed the Village Manager, should
continue as the Village's IMRF authorized agent; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the village that Resolution R-438
be repealed and that Margaret C. Powers continue as the Village's authorized
agent to the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund;
BE IT RESOLVED By THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That Resolution R-438 be and hereby is repealed.
Section 2: That Margaret C. Powers be and continue to be the authorized
agent representing the Village of Oak Brook in the Illinois Municipal
Retirement Fund. !

Section 3: That a copy of this Resolution be filed with the Illinois
Municipal Retirement Fund in evidence of the action authorized herein.
