R-612 CLE TV- FOR THE BASIC SERVICE TIER FOR CABLE TELEVISION BASIC SERVICE SUBSCRIBERS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF OAK.BROOK: TIER RATE Under the Cable Act of 1992, local franchising authorities were given REGULATIONS power to regulate.rates for the basic service tier, while the FCC extended cable given exclusive authority,to regulate rates for any prong service, tier of well ase submitted rental ontinental installation The basic service Cablevision of Cook County, Inc. on FCC Form 393, consists of the local off-air signals and access channels. This rate is within the federal ''benchmdrk" rate, as established by the FCC. Motion by Trustee Skinner, seconded by Trustee Kenny, to Pass Resolution 94-CB-RR-R-612 as presented and waive the full reading thereof. ROLL CALL VOTE: Ayes: 4 - Trustees Kenny, payovich, Shumate and Skinner. Nays: 1 - Trustee McInerney. Absent: 1 - Trustee Bartecki. Motion carried. 8. Sports Core: Trustee Shumate - Food and Beverage Manager/Ban ryes at Coordinator Sartore was very successful in reserving Christmas Pa the Bath and Tennis Club.
