L�yc �L� Whereas, Section 423 of Chapter 34, Illinois Revised Statutes, 1969, requires the County of DuPage, State of Illinois, to enforce its Building Code in all municipalities unless the municipality is V enforcing a municipal Building Code, which is equal to the county regulations] and Whereas, the Village of Oak Brook does not now have in effect a multi - family Building Code; and Whereas, the Village of Oak Brook is desirous of adopting the County of DuPage Multi - Family Building Code in its entirety as its own; and Whereas, the Village of Oak Brook must first comply with the provisions of Section 1 -2 -4 of Chapter 24, Illinois Revised Statutes, 1969, before adopt! -n of such codes NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT REsv,.:'n by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, Du.:ge County, Illinois: 1. That not less than three (3) copies of the DuPage County Building Code For Multi- Family Buildings, dated June 6, 1965, in pamphlet form be filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Oak Brook for use and examination by the public for at least thirty (30) days prior to such code being adopted, effective the date of passage of this Resolution.
