A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN ACTING VILLAGE MANAGER
FOR THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, Richard B Boehm, the Village Manager of the Village of Oak Brook, resigned from
said post as of March 10, 2007, and
WHEREAS, the Village Manager Search Committee of the Board of Trustees have begun a
search process for a new Village Manager, and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees find that until such Village Manager is
hired the interests of the Village of Oak Brook would be best served by the appointment of an Acting
Village Manager, and
WHEREAS, the Village President, with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees, wishes
to appoint Jeffrey P Moline, currently serving as Assistant Village Manager, to the position of Acting
Village Manager
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, as follows
Section 1 * That the Village President and Board of Trustees appoint Jeffrey P Moline to the
position of Acting Village Manager, to have all authority of the office of Village Manager, including, but not
limited to, the duties established for the Village Manager in Section 1 -5A -3 of the Village Code, and the
purchasing authority granted to the Village Manager in Section 1 -5A -4 of the Village Code
Section 2 All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed
to the extent of the conflict
Section 3 This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication as required by law
