R R S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, An R.A. DR JONG, a citizen of the Village of Oak
Brook, was instrumental in the apprehension of a burglary suspect
in a private residence within the Village of Oak Brook; and
W�ISREAS, this apprehension resu3.ted in the arrest of four
professional burglars and the destruction of the most prolific
west suburban burglary ring; and
WHRRRAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak yrook on behalf of the citizens thereof are of the opinion
that such creditable service should not be unrecognized; and
WEDMRAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the
opinion that a record of such service should be made and spread
upon the records of said village;
WON, TEBRBFORE, BE T.: RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook that the said ANY E.A. DE
JONG be and she is hereby commended for her public service to the
Village of Oak Brook and its citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, for and on behalf of said
Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and
gratitude to the said ANY E.A. DE JONG for such extraordinary
service.
BE IT FURTSSB RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this
P.esolution be delivered to the said AMY E.A. DR JOM and that
this Resoluti,)n be spread upon the official permanent records of
said Village.
ADOPTED AM APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois,
this 24th day of May, 1994.
