WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Uakbrook did on the 20,th day of February, A. u. 1962,
adopt an ordinance regulating and licensing public passenger
vehicles within the Village of Oakbrook, uuPag4e County, Illinois;
and
WHEREAS, applications for the licensing of taxicabs tc
operate sithin the Village of Oakbrook pursuant to said ordinance
have been received; and
WHXRzAS,,the Board of Trustees of the Village of Uakbrook,
in accordance with the provisions of said ordinancce7�d at the
open meeting of said Board of Trustees held this - 30e day of March,
A. u. 1962, conduct a public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the said Board of Trustees did permit all
interested persona to be heard at said hearing; and
WHEREAS, the said Board of Trustees has found that public
convenience and necessity require the licensing of__ -G rt
firms to operate &;, S;-Aotim&)_taxicaba within the Village of Oak-
brook pursuant to said ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook that it is hereby found and
declared to be that public convenience and necessity require the
licensing of , �� �. �- firms for the operation of taxicabs
within the Village of Uakbrook pursuant to the aforementioned
ordinance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the
