WHEREAS, RICHARD E. ASCHER, has faithfully and with
dedication and distinction served the Village of Oak Brook in his
capacity as a member and Chairman of the Board of Fire and Police
Commissioners from November, 1986 through December, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the said RICHARD E. ASCHER, has also serve6 the
community in other ways including President of the Oak Brook
Association of Commerce and Industry, Director of the Oak Brook
Civic Association and Chairman of the Oak Brook/Hinsdale Crusade
of Mercy; and
WHEREAS, during the unselfish and dedicated rendaring of
said service, RICHARD E. ASCHER has given unselfishly of his
time, effort and expertise, contributing materially thereby to
the progress and well-being of the said Tillage and its citizens;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the
opinion that a record of such faithful service should be made and
spread upon the records of said Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook that the said RICHARD E.
ASCHER be and he hereby is commended for his faithful service to
the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, for and on behalf of aaid
Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and
gratitude to the said RICHARD E. ASCHER for his civic service as
aforedescribed.
BE IT FTYRTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this
Resolution be delivered to the said RICHARD Z. ASCHER and that
this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of
said Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVZD by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois,
