R-131 - 04/11/1972 - APPRECIATION - ResolutionsAPPRSC�nT�°"�- (�-, i31 .wC-Pa�.SRo J • MEMORi+4M IR E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook take note of, and are deeply saddened by the sudden and untimely passing of WILLARD CARLSON on April Sth, 1972, and, WHEREAS, WILLARD CARLSON, during his long association with the Village of Oak Brook which started in 1937 and continued until his death, consistently devoted energy and time above and beyond the call of duty to his community, and, WHEREAS, WILLARD CARLSON served as a member of a multitude of community organizations which included the Original civil defense organization for the village, the Oak Brook Civic Association, the Oak Brook Plan Commission, the original Board of Trustees of the village, and, WHEREAS, WILLARD CARLSON, always and at all times gave unselfishly of his time, knowledge, talent and ability in order to make Oak Brook a better and more beautiful place in which to live, and, WHEREAS, WILLARD CARLSON, will be sorely missed by all of his friends and neighbors and the official family of the Village of Oak Brook; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, on behalf of all village residents, that they DO HEREBY extend their sincerest and deepest sympathy to the family of WILLARD CARLSON on the occasion of his untimely death, and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village President be and he is hereby directed to deliver, 'with sympathy, this resolution to the family of WILLARD CARLSON. BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be spread upon the official records and proceedings of the Village of Oak Brook.
