R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, DAVID P. SWAIN, JR. has served the Village of Oak
Brook with distinction, dedication and competence since 1965, and,
WHEREAS, during said period of service, DAVID F. SWAIN, JR..
has given unselfishly of his tima, effort and ability in his capacity
as Oak Brook Zoning Board of Appeals member from 1965 -67, Chairman of
the Oak Brook Plan Commission from 1967 -1973, and a member of the
Board of Trustees from 1973, ano,
WHEREAS, DAVID F. SWAIN, JR. has labored tirelessly as Chairman

of the Traffic and Transportation Committee to implement a long range
;i
traffic plan in behalf of the Village of Oak Brook and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the President and the Board of Trustees are of the
opinion that a record of such faithful service should be made and {
spread "upon,the records of said Village;
NOW THMF(MtE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of'the Village of Oak Brook that the said DAVID F. SWAIN, JR.
be and he hereby is commended for his faithful service to the Village
of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, for and on behalf of said
r village and its citizens, do hereby extend their thanks and gratitude
to the said DAVID F. SPAIN, JR., for his services as aforadescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of these resolutions be de-
livered to the said DAVID F. SWAIN,JR. by the Clerk of the Village of
Oak Brook and that these resolutions be spread upon the records of
said Village.
