RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, COLONEL RAULIN B. WIGHT departed this life on
April 230 1966; and
WHEREAS, the said COLONEL RAULIN B. WIGHT has been the
Engineer for the Village of Oakbrook since its inception and was
one of the principal forces behind the original incorporation of
said Village;. and
WHEREAS, the..said COLONEL RAULIN B. WIGHT has contributed
greatly in time and energy to not Only the creation but the con-
tinued improvement of the Village of Oakbrook, and has loyally
served said Village above and beyond the requireaants of his office;
and
WHE ,, his person and his services will be sorely missed
by the President and 'Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook
and the citizens thereof, and
WkMR p in the opinion of the President and Board of
Trustees such extraordinary service to the Village of Oakbrook and
the citizens thereof should not go unrecognized•,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook that the corporate
authorities of the "Village of Oakbrook do hereliyy, on behalf of
themselves and the citizens of Oakbrook, express,-,their gratitude
to the family of COLONEL RAULIN B.. WIGHT for the extraordinary
services which he has rendered to.the Village a4l4urthiw extend
their sympathies to each member of his family.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon
the minutes of the Board of Trusts" of the Village of Oakbrook as
a permanent record.
BE IT FURTHER RR90LVSD that a certified copy of these
resolutions be forwarded by the Village Clark to the family of
COLONEL RAULIN B. WIGHT,
