OF CERTAIN BOOKS OR PAMPHLETS WITH
THE VILLAGE CLERK OF THE VILLAGE OF
OASBROOK FOR THE PURPOSE OF -ADOPTING
SAMB BY RfiFSRENCE PUBS ANT TO ;
WHSREASs the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oakbrook are of the opinion that certain pamphlets with reference to
building regulations should be adopted in whole or in part as an amend-
meat to the Building Regulations of the Village of Oakbrook; and
WHEREAS, the statutes of the State of Illinois provide that
ordinances establishing rules and regulations for the construction of
buildings or any part thereof, where such rules and regulations have
been previously printed in book or pamphlet forms may by their terms
provide for the adoption of such rules and regulations or portions
thereof by reference thereto without further printing or publication
if not loss than three copies of such rules and regulations in book
or pamphlet form have been filed in the office of the Clark of the
municipality for use and examination by the public at least thirty
days prior to the adoption thereof;
NOW. THERSFORS9 BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook that there be filed with the
Village Clerk of the Village of Oakbrook as of the date of the adoption
of this ssrbluttoo three copies of the Suburban Building Officials
Conference Building Codes March 1964 Editions entitled "Rules and
Regulations for the Constructions Alterations Repair and Conversion
of Buildings for Residential Purposes." heretofore printed in pamphlet
form and published.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from this date hence such copies
of such pamphlet shall remain on file with the Village Clark of the
Village of Oakbrook for use and examination by the public.
