aWHEREAS, JOSEPH H. RUSH has given unselfishly of his time,
effort and ability to the Village of Oak Brook successively as a
member of the Zoning Board of Appeals and as an elected Trustee
since 1967; and
WHEREAS, during said period of service, JOSEPH H. RUSH has
performed outstanding service as the dedicated and competent
ChaLrmau of the Zoning and Planning Committee, Chairman of the
Inter - Governmental Committee, and actively participating as the
village board delegate to the DuPage Mayors-and Managers Conference;
and
WHEREAS, JOSEPH R. RUSH could be called the "architect" who
helped design the original Oak Brook Zoning Ordinance, he has great-
ly contributed to the progress and well being of said Village and -
its citizens; and
MOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, for and on behalf of said
Village and its citizens, that they do hereby express their sincerest
thanks and gratitude to JOSEPH H. RUSH for his many contributions
over many years; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of these resolutions be
delivered to the said JOSEPH B. RUSH by the Clerk of the Village of
Oak Brook and that these resolutions be spread upon the records of
said Village-
PASSED and APPROVED by the President and 'Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois, this 13th -
day of May, 1975.
