RESOLUTION RESCINDING CERTAIN ACTION
OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES

WHEREAS, on the 8th day of March, 1966s at a regular
Board meeting the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oakbrook passed a motion to "adopt the agreement between the
State of Illinois, Department of Public Works and Buildings, and
the Village of Oakbrook regarding an improvement at Route No. 83
and 31st Street, and that the President be authorized to sign
aame;" and
WHEREAS, the President of the Village of Oakbrook has
not signed said agreement and said agreement has never been in
force and affect; and
WHEREAS, the information available to the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook on said date
was erroneous in that considerably more territory will be re-
quired for the construction of said interchange and that the
bridge across Route 83 will be further above grade level than
was anticipated; and
WHF•REAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the
opinion that said contract should not be signed and that said
authority should be rescinded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook that the authority
heretofore granted to the President by motion on March 8, 1966,
to sign the agreement between the State of Illinois, Department
of Public Works and Buildings, and the Villa&* of Oakbrook regard-
ing an improvement at Route 83 and 31st Street be and the same is
hereby rescinded.
