RESOLUTION TO PARTICIPATE UNDER THE ILLINOIS
POLICE TRAINING Ate
i+T1.DiREAS, the Village of Oakbrook is desirous , of electing
to participate in the program under the Illinois Police Training
Act, as enacted by the '74th General Assembly of the State of
Illinois; and
W#BEAS, in order that the Village be eligible for
initial or continued participation in the progtam, the law re-
quires that 'be fare an individual may commence regular employment
as a policeman, he. must have been certified by -,the Illinois Local
Governmental Law Enforcement Oft %era Training Board as pairing

Oakbrook bereby elects to,particiyeita':in the program provided
for in tits Illinois Police Training Act.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that,;hefore an individual may
commance regular employment as a policeman, . he must have been
certified by the Illinois Local Governmental Law fimiorcemsnt
.Officers Training Board as having successfully completed an sp-
proved,training course as provided in said Act.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such basic training must be
completed by the trainee withLa Map robstionary period of
