RESOLUTION NO. j - "
RESOLUTION CONTINUING THE
"OAK BROOK FREZ:PUBLIC LIBRARY"
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook has heretofore entered into an
agreement with the Oak Brook Library Association for the maintenance
by the Village of a free Public Library, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said agreement the ownerehip of the assets
transferred to the Village by the Association was deferred for a
period of three (3) years from the date of the agreement to -wit May
25, 1974, and
WHEREAS, the Village has performed all conditions required of it
under the agreement with the Association and,
WHEREAS, the Village is desirous'of,m%ihtaining the "Oak Brook
Free Public ibLi"" as is. evidenced by the appgintsmnt and reappointment
of the Commissioners as the respective terms expired, and by the
Village budgeting and appropriating for the nebassary.expenditures
for the continued operation of the.,Library.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by U16 President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook as follows:

of Illinois for "Free Public Libraries within V411aged. ". for a minimum

Section 2. That the Oak Brook Library Association be commended for
its c v c con ibutions in initiating the Library Services within the
village of Oak Brook and to the Commissioners-b€ said Free Public Library

to grow and expand during this.firiPt three year period.`
Section 3. The Village Clerk is directed to spread a copy of this
resolu on upon -the official records of the Village of Oak Brook.

the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois, this day
