RESOLUTION 2005 -BD- TASK -R -910
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE FOR
THE PURPOSE OF REVIEWING POTENTIAL BUSINESS AND
RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT AND REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Village Board wishes to establish a Task Force for the purpose of reviewing
potential business and residential development and redevelopment projects; and

WHEREAS, the Task Force shall submit a report to the Village Board with a reporting schedule
for the Board's approval, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows -
Section 1. That there is hereby created a Task Force for the purpose of reviewing potential
business and residential development and redevelopment projects Said Task Force shall be k l own as
the "Task Force" and shall consist of President Quinlan, Trustee Sanford, Trustee Kennedy, the Chairman
of the Plan Commission, the Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Director of Community
Development.
Section 2 That the Task Force shall have and exercise the following powers and duties.
(a) To establish, maintain and promote communication among the Village, other
governmental agencies, businesses, trade and industry organizations and other local
organizations and institutions, for the purpose of maintaining and improving the economic
health of the Village;

To recommend to the Board of Trustees those actions and programs that will 'serve to
carry out the purpose of the Task Force, I
To elect from its members a Chairman and Vice Chairman, and
To perform such other duties as the Village Board may direct
