WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook located in the County of DuPaga,
State of Illinois, wishes to locate, construct, operate and maintain watermalns,
sewer lines, driveways, alleys, street returns, sidewalks and street lights
constructed either by the Village of Oak Brook nr under supervision of said
Village in the year of 1974 on the State Highways in the Village of Oak Brook,
Illinois
WHICH by law comes under the jurisdiction and control of the Department
of Transportation of the State of Illinois
and
WHEREAS, a permit from said Department is required beforb said work can
be legally undertaken by.said Village or supervised by the Village now
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Village of Oak Brook County of DuPage,
State of IiliOis: c
FIRST: That we do hereby request from the Department of Transportation,
State of Ili >inois,4. permit authorizing the Village of Oak Brook to proceed with
the work heMn described
SECOND: That we hereby pledge the good faith ,of the Village of Oak Brook
and guarantee that all work shall be performed.in accordance with the conditions
of the permit to be.granted by the Department of Transportation.of the State of
Illinois, and to bold the State of Illinois, Department of Transportation, harmless
on. "account ,of any damages that may occur to persons or peoperty during.the
prosecution of such work, and assume all liability for damages to persons or
property due to accidents or otherwise by reason of the work which is to be
performed under the provision of said permit.
THIRD: That we hereby state that the proposed work 1s to be performed by
the employees.of` the Village of Oak Brook
FOURTH: That the proper officers of the Village of Oak Brook are hereby
Instructed and authorized to sign said permit in behalf of the Village of Oak
Brook
PASSED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, DuPage County, Illinois, this day of , 1974.
