RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, FREDERICK C. CAPPETTA has faithfully and with perseverance served the
Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a member of the Oak Brook Board of Fire and Police
Commissioners from July, 2007 to June, 2011, serving as Chairman from August, 2009 to June, 2011;
and
WHEREAS, while serving on the Oak Brook Board of Fire and Police Commissioners,
FREDERICK C. CAPPETTA was dedicated to maintaining high standards in the police and fire
departments; and
WHEREAS, FREDERICK C. CAPPETTA made the supreme sacrifice by serving his country in
the United States Army during the Vietnam War; and
WHEREAS, as President of the Wendel Woods Homeowners Association, he continues to
serve the Village of Oak Brook; and
WHEREAS, during the generous and enthusiastic rendering of said service FREDERICK C.
CAPPETTA has given unselfishly of his time, effort and expertise, contributing significantly thereby to
the safety of the said Village and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a record of such faithful
service should be made and spread upon the records of said Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook that the said FREDERICK C. CAPPETTA be and is hereby commended for his loyal
service to the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and
gratitude to the said FREDERICK C. CAPPETTA for his civic service as aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be delivered to the
said FREDERICK C. CAPPETTA and that this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent
records of said Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this 12th day of July, 2011.
