R-814 - 08/27/2002 - APPRECIATION - Resolutionst J RESOLUTION 2002- AP -EX1 -R -814 A RESOLUTION NAMING THE ROAD ADJACENT TO THE OAK BROOK PUBLIC LIBRARY JOE FULLAN COURT IN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, IL i WHEREAS, Joseph W. Fullan faithfully, and with dedication and distinction, served the Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a member of the Library Commission for nine years; and WHEREAS, Joseph W. Fullan also served the Village of Oak Brook a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for 8 years; and WHEREAS, said Joseph W. Fullan, also served the community in many other ways incl ding I and board member of the Oak Brook Library Association, president and board member of the Timber Trails/Merry Lane Homeowners Association, board member of the Oak Brook Civic Association and delegate to the Oak Brook Community Caucus; [WHEREAS, Joseph W. Fullan greatly contributed his time and effort in other civic, charitable and social activities in this community; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK that the said Joseph W. Fullan be and he is hereby commended for his faithful service to the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees do hereby and herewith rename and designate the road adjoining the Oak Brook Public Library (as depicted on the attached diagram) "Joe Fullan Court" in honor of the many civic achievements of said Joseph W. Fullan. PASSED AND APPROVED this 27th day of August, 2002 by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, according to a roll call', vote as follows Ayes: Trustees Aktipis, Caleel, Craig, Korin, Miologos and Savino Nays: None Absent: None Abstain.
