R-1120 - 09/13/2011 - APPRECIATION - ResolutionsWHEREAS, JOSEPH K RUSH has faithfully and with dedication and distinction served the
Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals from February, 2008
through June, 2011; and
WHEREAS, JOSEPH H. RUSH has with enthusiasm served the Village of Oak Brook since 1967,
beginning on the Zoning Board of Appeals where he was instrumental in designing the original Zoning
Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, JOSEPH H. RUSH also served the Village of Oak Brook in many other ways including
as Village Trustee over a span of twenty -four years; and
WHEREAS, JOSEPH H. RUSH worked tirelessly in his community as Past President of the Oak
Brook Civic Association and Past President of the Fullersburg Woods Area Association; and
WHEREAS, during the generous and dedicated rendering of said service JOSEPH H. RUSH has
given unselfisblij of his time, effort and expertise, contributing significantly thereby to the progress and well-
being of the said Village and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a record of such faithful
service should be made and spread upon the records of said Village.
Now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook that the said JOSEPH H RUSH be and is hereby commended for his loyal service to the Village
of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its,citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and gratitude to
the said JOSEPH H. RUSH for his civic service as aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified coprj of this Resolution be delivered to the said
JOSEPH H. RUSH and that this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of said Village.
