RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, RALPH MAXSON has faithfully and with dedication and distinction served the
Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a member of the Hotel, Convention and Visitors Committee from
its inception in 1990 through August, 2009, and
WHEREAS, during the generous and dedicated rendering of said service RALPH MAXSON has
also given unselfishly of his time, effort and expertise to other civic activities such as serving on the
Autumn Fest Committee from 1996 to 2005, as past president of the Civic Association and on the District
205 Board of Education, dust to list a few, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a record of such faithful
service should be made and spread upon the records of said Village
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook that the said RALPH MAXSON be and is hereby commended for his loyal service to the
Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and gratitude
to the said RALPH MAXSON for his civic service as aforedescribed
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be delivered to the said
RALPH MAXSON and that this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of said Village
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this 22nd day of September, 2009
