RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, GLENN KRIETSCH has faithfully and with dedication and distinction served the
Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a member of the Oak Brook Zoning Board of Appeals from
August, 2005 through August, 2009, and
WHEREAS, during the generous and dedicated rendering of said service GLENN KRIETSCH
has given unselfishly of his time, effort and expertise, contributing significantly to the review of many
variations and special uses, text amendments to the Zoning Ordinance and including, but not limited to,
land use proposals for McDonald's Redevelopment, Clearwater, Time Square Cafe, Gibsons Steakhouse,
Fifth Third Bank, Oak Brook Park District — Dean Sanctuary, and Starbucks, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a record of such faithful
service should be made and spread upon the records of said Village
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook that the said GLENN KRIETSCH be and is hereby commended for his loyal service to the
Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and gratitude
to the said GLENN KRIETSCH for his civic service as aforedescribed
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be delivered to the said
GLENN KRIETSCH and that this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of said
Village
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this 22nd day of September, 2009
