WHEREAS, BRIAN T. CLINGEN has faithfully and with dedication and distinction
served the Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a commissioner on the Board of Trustees for
the Police Pension Fund from June, 2003 through May, 2006; and
WHEREAS, during the generous and dedicated rendering of said service BRIAN T.
CLINGEN given unselfishly of his time, effort and expertise, contributing significantly
thereby to the progress and well -being of the said Village and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a record of
such faithful service should be made and spread upon the records' of said Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oak Brook that the said BRIAN T. CLINGEN be and is hereby commended for
his loyal service to the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their
appreciation and gratitude to the said BRIAN T. CLINGEN for his civic service as
aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be
delivered to the said BRIAN T. CLINGEN and that this Resolution be spread upon the official
permanent records of said Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this 26th day of September, 2006.
