WBERM; the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oakbrook is and has been cognizant of the traffic hazards
created at the intersection of York Road and the entrance to
Woodside Ratatee by the attempt of southbound traffic on York
Road to rovers* direction, resulting in "U" turns on either
York Road or the Woodside Ratates entrance road; and
wHMmABr by resolution the President and Board of
Trustees have heretofore requested the State of Illinois to
construct a "Jug handlef turning laws o% the vast side of York
Road at the entrance to"Woodside Rotates Subdivision as a
temporary stopgap measure to help alleviate the congestion; and
WRRRRASr the Prosident and Poard of Trustees of the
Village of Oakbrook have and do recognise that'sors perms+nant
measures will be required; and
WHELEASr the President and Board of Trustees are in-
formed and believe that a considerable portion of such traffic
Congestion is Caused by the lack of an access to the westbound
lame of Roosevelt Road for southbound traffic an York Road;
and
WHZMMr the President and Board of Trustees are of the
opinion that the interchange at York Road and Roosevelt Road
should properly contain such access;
