WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook has entered into an agreement
with the State of Illinois for the improvement of 22nd Street (FAU
9877) and Spring Road(FAU 9870) known as State Section 552 -R -3, FAUS
Project M -5003 (10), Village Section 7 TL -CS; and
WHEREAS, in compliance with the aforementioned agreement, it is
necessary for the Village of Oak Brook to appropriate funds other than
Motor Fuel Tax Funds. to pay its share of the cost of said improvement,
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED, that there is hereby appropriated
the sum of THREE HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND ($325,000.00) or so much
thereof as may be necessary. from any money now or hereafter allotted
to the Village from funds other than Motor Fuel Tax Funds, to pay its
share of the cost of this improvement as provided in the agreement; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon completion of toe improvement, the
Village will pay to the Department of Transportation of the State of
Illinois in 36 monthly installments from funds other than Motor Fuel Tax
Funds, an amount equal to its obligation incurred under this ai- eament;
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village agrees to pass a supple -
mentai resolution to provide necessary funds for its share of the cost
of this improvement if the amount appropriated berein proves to be
insufficient to cover said cost.
