RESOLUTION NO.
A REZL-Uffffl AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF TAXiCAB LICENSES TO
HINSDALE CARRIAGE. LTD.
WHEREAS, Section 847 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of
Oak Brook, Illinois, authorizes the determination by the President and Board of
Trustees of the number of taxicab licenses to be issued from time to time, based on
the public convenience and necessity; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees find that, based on
public convenience and necessity, additional taxicab licenses should be Issued to
one or more qualified companies; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have determined that
Hinsdale Carriage, Ltd., Is a qualified taxicab company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook that Banes are to be issued to Hinsdale
Carriage, Ltd., pursuant to said Ordinance, to operate four taxicabs within the
Village limits of Oak Brook.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these licenses shall be Issued for the
period of December 1A 1977, to April 30, 1978. Application for renewal of the
licenses will be considered If submitted by March 1, 1978.
PASSED and APPROVED by -the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook, Du Page and Cook Counties, Illinois, this JA day of December, 1977.
