2001 MFT Resolution
MFT Section No. 01- 00000 -01 -GM
RECOMMENDATION: That the Village Board approve the attached "Resolution For Maintenance Of
Streets and Highways By Municipality Under The Illinois Highway Code" for
2001.
The 210101 Budget places the 2001 Crack Seal Project funding from the MFT Fund. As such, we must
adhere to IDOT procedures and forms.
The attached "Resolution For Maintenance Of Streets and Highways By Municipality Under The Illinois
Highway Code" and "Municipal Estimate of Maintenance Costs" are documents required by IDOT for
MFT funding. The resolution appropriates the sum of $66,000 for calendar year 2001 for the Crack Seal
Project, the same amount that is within the 2001 Budget as a transfer from the MFT Fund to the
Infrastructure Fund for this work.
As this project is utilizing MFT funds, we are working with IDOT personnel to insure that our design
documents and specifications meet MFT requirements.

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order by President
Bushy in the Samuel E. Dean Board Room of the Village Commons at
7:34 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance was given.
ROLL CALL: ROLLCALL
The Village Clerk called the roll with the following persons

minutes of the Regular Board of Trustees Meeting of January 9, 2001 as
presented and waive the full reading thereof. VOICE VOTE. Motion carried.

Trustee Caleel requested Item F.4. be removed for a clarification of the
need to purchase nine mowers at one time. Golf Club Manager
VanDyke explained that six mowers are used simultaneously to mow
quickly before the 6:00 a.m. tee off time. Trustee Caleel asked if the
purchases could be staggered. Golf Club Manager VanDyke explained
that it is advantageous to have all the same brand mowers as different
mowers cut differently and the mowers are easier to maintain when
they are the same brand. Golf Club Manager VanDyke will submit
further information to the Board in the Village Manager's
memorandum.
Motion by Trustee Kenny, seconded by Trustee Savino, to authorize
staff to seek bids for golf course maintenance equipment replacement.
VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
