SUBJECT: Bank Check Signature Authority

RECOMMENDED MOTION: I move that the Village Board adopt Resolution R -978
regarding authorized check signers for the Village of Oak Brook.
Background/History:
At the present time there are three individuals authorized to sign checks for the Village -the
Village Treasurer, Village Manager, and Village President. Due to the vacancy in the Village
Manager position, Jeff Moline, as Assistant Village Manager, was added as an authorized signer
on February 27, 2007. Due to the recent election of President Craig, his name needs to be added
as an authorized signer as a replacement for Kevin Quinlan.. The Facsimile Signature portion
for President Craig's name has been left blank since traditionally a facsimile signature is not
used by the Village President for signing checks.
Recommendation:
I recommend approval of Resolution R -978 regarding authorized check signers for the Village of
Oak Brook
