RESQLUTION
WHEREAS, GARRY j. BARTECKI has faithfully and with dedication and distinction served
the Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a member of the Board of Trustees from May, 1987
through April, 1999;and
WHEREAS, the said GARRY 1. BARTECKI has also served the Village of Oak Brook in his
capacity as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals from August, 1983 to November, 1987;and
WHEREAS, the said GARRY J. BARTECKI has also served the community in many other
ways including as Past President of the Oak Brook Civic Association; as a Board Member of the
York Woods Homeowners Association; as Treasurer of the Salt Creek Sanitary District; and as a
member of the CPA Society and Executives Breakfast Club of Oak Brook;and
WHEREAS, during the unselfish and dedicated rendering of said service GARRY J.
BARTECKI has given unselfishly of his time, effort and expertise, contributing materially thereby to
the progress and well-being of the said Village and its citizens;and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a record of such
faithful service should be made and spread upon the records of said Village.
fNOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook that the said GARRY J. BARTECKI be and he hereby is commended for his faithful
service to the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and
gratitude to the said GARRY J. BARTECKI for his civic service as aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be delivered to the
said GARRY J. BARTECKI and that this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of
said Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this 11th of May, 1999.
