R-727 - 08/24/1999 - APPRECIATION - Resolutions RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, KATHLEEN McSHANE has faithfully and with dedication and distinction served
the Village ol'Oak Brook in her capacity as Deputy Village Clerk from June, 1989 through July, 1999;
and
WHEREAS, the said KATHLEEN McSHANE has also served the community in many other
ways including Past President, Past Treasurer, Charter Member and other official capacities of the Oak
Brook Area Association of university Women; member of the Oak Brook Women's Club; Minister of
Care at Iinsdale Ilospital; volunteer activities for local School Districts 48 and 181, and the Hinsdale
Central Iligh School Library;and
WHEREAS, during the unselfish and dedicated rendering of said service KATHLEEN
McSHANE has given unselfishly of her time, effort and expertise, contributing materially thereby to the
progress and well-being of the said Village and its citizens;and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a record of such faithful
service should be made and spread upon the records of said Village;
NOW, 'THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook that the said KATHLEEN McSHANE be and she hereby is commended for her j
faithful service to the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT' FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens,do hereby extend their appreciation and gratitude

to the said KATHLEEN McSHANE for her civic service as aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be delivered to the

said KATHLEEN McSHANE and that this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of
said Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
