RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION 1999-TX-MFT-R-732 ENTITLED,
RESOLUTION FOR MAINTENANCE OF STREETS AND 3
BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE 11,=:�."sNO1S HIGHWAY CODE
WHEREAS, on November 23, 1999, the President and Board of Trustees passed Resolution No.
1999-TX-MFT-R-732 entitled, "Resolution for Maintenance of Streets and Higl gays By Municipality
Under the Illinois Highway Cod':-("First Resolution"); and
WHEREAS, the First Resolution was passed in error, as it mistakenly provided for Maintenance
of certain streets and highways using Motor Fuel Tax funds, instead of Improvement of certain streets
and highways as was intended; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees wish to repeal this First Resolution and then
pass a new, correct resolution.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLIIJOIS that Resolution 1999-TX-
MFT•R-732, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit A, is hereby repealed.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 14th day of December, 1999, by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois according to a roll tail vote
as follows:
Ayes: Trustees Craig, McInerney, Savino and President Bushy
Nays: None
Absent: —Trustees Butler. Caleel and Kenny

BE IT RESOLLED,by the President and Board of Trustees of the

of .Illinois,that there is hereby

appropriated the sum of S 500.000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the purpose of maintaining
streets and highways under the applicable provisions of the Illinois Highway Code,from January 1, 2000
to December 31, 2000
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that only those streets.highways,and operations as listed and described on the ap-
proved Municipal Estimate of Maintenance Costs,including supplemental or revised estimates approved in connec-
tion with this resolution,are eligible for maintenance with Motor Fuel Tax funds during the period as specified above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk shalt, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as given
above, submit to the Department of Transportation, on forms furnished by said Department, a certified statement
showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s)for this period,and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED.that the Clerk shall immediately transmit two certified copies of this resolution
to the district office of the Department of Transportation,at Schaumburg ,Illinois.
