RECOMMENDATION:That the President and Board of Trustees:
1. Approve the attached"Resolution Repealing Resolution 1999-TX-MFT-R-732
Entitled,Resolution For Maintenance of Streets and Highways by Municipality
Under the Illinois Highway Code",and
Approve the attached"Resolution for Improvement by Municipality Under the
Illinois Highway Code"
At your meeting of November 23. 1999 you approved a resolution entitled"Resolution for Maintenance of
Streets and Highways by Municipality Under the Illinois Highway Code"(copy attached)which is an IDOT
form required for the MFT part of the next year's paving project. We were informed this afternoon by
IDOT that this is the wrong form. We should use a construction form rather than a maintenance form.
The correct construction form is attached and includes a table of the five streets that are part of this project.
The amount of$500,000 is the same amount that you approved at your November 23rd meeting.
This item is being placed on the Board agenda of December 14, 1999 for your consideration.

contibutes some of the favorable results achieved with guidance provided by
the Board's mission statement and a statement of objectives, speaks well for
the teamwork involved in successful joint adventures. It all came through to
him as a well-documented summary of on-going work in progress. He assured
Village Manager Veitch -hat he has continued to earn Mr. Fullan's respect for
the outstanding performance and wished him well wish future challenges. He
reiterated that the Village Board and community are well served by Mr. Veitch
in his position as Village Manager.
Trustee McInerney remarked of the marvelous event of the Snowflake Ball by
the Oak Brook Civic Association. He commended the Association for all of
the events that are held throughout the year for our residents. He
acknowledged in the audience George C. Mueller, Zoning Board of Appeals
member, for his years of dedicated service in bringing the Great Lakes sailors
to the Village for Thanksgiving Day with residents in Oak Brook and the
surrounding communities.

Motion by Trustee McInerney, seconded by Trustee Savino, to approve the
minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 23, 1999, as presented and waive
the full reading thereof. VOICE VOTE. Motion carried.
Motion by Trustee McInerney, seconded by Trustee Savino, to approve the :goo Budget
Special Board of Trustees Meeting of December 4, 1999 for the 2000 Budget Workshop
0 5- Workshop. VOICE VOTE. Motion carried.
OMNIBUS AGENDA:
All items on the Omnibus Agenda are considered to be routine in nature and
will be enacted in one motion. There wt.' be no separate discussion of these
items unless a Board member so requests, in which event, the item will be
removed from the Omnibus Agenda and considered as the first item after
approval of the Omnibus Agenda.
Motion by Trustee McInerney, seconded by Trustee Savino, to approve the

Dear Madam:
The Resolution for Section 99-00031-00-FP adopted by the President and Board
of Trustees on December 14, 1999 was approved by this Department on
December 22, 1999. This resolution provides for bituminous milling and
resurfacing, curb and gutter replacement, bituminous patching, minor storm
se,.;-er modifications, some pavement reconstruction and associated landscaping
restoration and appropriates $500,000.00 of motor fuel tax funds for the subject
section.
