AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE
REGULATING CONTRACTS AND PURCHASES
FOR THE VILLAGE OF OAKBROOK, DU PA-GE
COUNTY, ILLINOIS , PASSED AND APPROVED
BY TFE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF SAID VILLAGE ON THE 14th DAY OF
JUNE, A. D. 1.960.
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois , that Sections
2 and 3 of "An- ordinen.ce regulating contracts and purchases for the
Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois , " passed an.d approved
by the President and Board of Trustees on the 14th day of June , A_ D.
1960 , be end the same hereby Are amended , and as amended shall read
as follows :
"Section. 2 : Purchases Not Exceeding $100.00. The
head of any department within. the Village may, in his
discretion., without previous authorization by the Board
of Trustees or the Purchasing Agent , purchase commodities
and supplies , or order work done costing not more than One
Hundred and No/100ths ($1100.00) Dollars , provided such
expenditure is within the limits of the appropriation
ordinance.
"Section 3 : Purchases Not Exceeding $200.00. The
Purchasing Agent or the President may, in. his discretion.,
without previous authorization. by the Board of Trustees ,
purchase commodities and supplies , or order work done cost-
ing not more than Two Hundred and No/100ths ($200.00) Dollars ,
provided such expenditure is within the limits of the appro-
priation ordinance. "
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval as by
statute in such cases made and provided.
