AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. G-10, BEING AN ORDINANCE
REGULATING TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES
IN THE VILLAGE OF OAKBROOK, PASSED
AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
OAKBROOK ON THE 12th DAY OF JANUARY,
1960, AS AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oakbrook:
Section 1, That Ordinance No. G-10 , being an Ordinance
Regulating Traffic and Vehicles in the Village of Oakbrook, passed
and approved by the President and Board of Trustees on the 12th day
of January, 1960, as amended , be and the same is hereby further
amended by adding between pgraphs 43 and 44 the following paragraph,
which will be known and designated. as paragraph 43A.:
1143A. Procedures in Handling Violations. The police
department is authorized to place violation notices on
every car parked in violation of this ordinance and to
cause summonses or warrants to be issued, to commence
prosecution against violators , except that the police de-
partment need not cause such proceedings to be commenced
against any violator of the provisions of paragraph 43 of
this ordinance who appears at the Oakbrook Village Hall and
pays the sum of Two Dollars to the Village Clerk no later
than forty-eight hours after the violation time indicated
by the officer issuing the violation notice."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage , approval and publication as by
statute in such cases made and provided.
