AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF SANITARY SEWERS, _WATER MAINS AND ROADS AND
BRIDGES WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF OAKBROOK, DU PAGE
COUNTY, ILLINOIS_, KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS
ORDINANCE G-31, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE
PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF SAID VILLAGE
ON THE 9th DAY OF JANUARY, 1962
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oakbrook:
Section 1.. That Division II of an ordinance establishing
standards and specifications for the construction of sanitary sewers ,
�-- water mains and roads and bridges within the Village of Oakbrook,
DuPAge County, Illinois , be and the same is hereby amended by adding
after Section 17 of said division the following section, which shall
be known and designated as Section 17a:
"SECTION 17a. APPLICABILITY
"All sanitary sewers constructed within the limits of
the Village of Oakbrook, including services from the main
line to the cast iron outlet at the building shall comply
with the provisions of this ordinance."
Section 2. That the aforedescribed. ordinance No. G-31 is
further amended by adding thereto the following division after
Division IV, which shall be known and designated as Division V:
"DIVISION V
"SECTION 25. PENALTY
1125.1 Penalty
"Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate
any of the provisions of this ordinance, or who shall
construct any sanitary sewer, water main or road and.
bridge within the limits of the Village of Oakbrook not
in strict compliance with the standards and specifica-
tions herein contained shall be guilty of a misdemeanor,
and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than
Twenty-Five and No/100ths Dollars ($25.00) nor more
than Two Hundred and No/100ths Dollars ($200.00) and
each day such violation continues shall be deemed a
separate offense. "
