G-91 - 07/09/1968 - AGREEMENT - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. _ `�• - q AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE USE OF SEARCH LIGHTS IN THE VILLAGE OF OAKBROOK BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois: Section 1. It shall be unlawful to install, to operate, or to maintain, anywhere in the Village of Oakbrook, a "search light Section 2. A "search light" is defined for purposes of this Ordinance as an apparatus for projecting a powerful beam of light of approximately parallel rays, usually devised so that it can be swiveled about; also the beam of light projected by it. Section 3. Anything heretofore to the contrary notwithstanding "search lights" may be employed by Police, Fire, or Civil Defense personnel for authorized emergency operations or training missions. Section 4. Any person, firm, or corporation violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined from Five Dollars ($5.00) to Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) . Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law. PASSED andAPPROVED this day of July, 1968.
