ORDINANCE NO. G=119
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. G-60
"THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF
OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS, OF 1966" , PASSED AND
APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
MARCH 22 , 1966, AS AMENDED
BE IT-ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the -
Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois, that:
Section 1. Paragraph 1 of Subsection A of Section X of
Ordinance No. G-60, "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
t Oak Brook, Illinois, of 1966" , passed and approved March 22,
1966, as amended, is hereby amended, and as amended shall read
as follows:
"No lot shall be used, and no structure shall be
erected, altered or remodeled for any of the fol-
lowing uses: abattoirs; arsenals; crematories;
creosote treatment or manufacture; fat rendering;
fertilizer manufacture; fireworks manufacture or
storage; dumping or reduction of garbage, dead - — --
animals, offal, or refuse, ore reduction, petro-
leum processing or refining; pyroxylin manufacture; -
gutta percha manufacture or treatment; salt works;
sauerkraut manufacture; smelters; stockyard or
slaughter of or experimentation with animals or
fowls; tallow, grease, or lard manufacture or treat-
ment; tanning, curing, or storage of rawhides or skins;
tar distillation or manufacture; cement, concrete,
or asphaltic concrete, mortar or plaster batch mixing
plants, or junk yards or other uses having operations
that are deemed by the Board of Trustees to be in-
compatible with the intended environmental character
of the ORA Office-Research-Assembly District, except
clinical testing of animals of the rodent family or
domesticated fowl is permitted if conducted within a
separate room or rooms not to exceed two thousand
(2,000) square feet of gross floor area which is part
of a building used for research. "
Section 2. This ordinance shall' be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication as by--statute
in such cases made and provided.
PASSED and APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oak Brook this 12th day of May ,
1970.
