AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE G-60 PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS, ON THE 22ND DAY OF MARCH, 1966, AS AMENDED Whereas, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, did, on the 22nd day of March, 1966, adopt and ap- prove Ordinance G-60 , known and designated as "The Zoning Ordi- nance of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, of 1966", which said ordinance having thereafter been published in pamphlet form, is and has been in full force and effect from and after the 8th day of July, 1966, as from time to time amended; and Whereas, pursuant to the provisions thereof, an amendment to said ordinance, as more specifically hereinafter s-et forth, was proposed by the President and Board of Trustees and referred to the Zoning Board of Appeals for consideration thereof; and Whereas , the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook' did, on the 7th day of July, 1970 , conduct a public hearing on said I proposed amendment, notice of which said public hearing was duly published in accordance with the Statutes of the State of Illinois thereto pertaining and the provisions of said ordinance; and Whereas , the said Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois, has recommended that said amend- resident and Board of Trustees do concur ment be adopted and the Preside t in said recommendation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook as follows: r Section 1. Section V, Subsection &, 3 c) and h) of Ordinance a G-60 , being "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, of 1966" , as amended, be and the same are amended, and as amended shall read as follows : "3, c) Accessory uses and structures shall not be located, erected, or altered in required yards, except as provided in Section V, G, 3 d) , g) , and h) of this ordinance." 113. h) Accessory uses and structures are permitted � I in required yards and courts as follows: Yards adjoining streets. . . . . . . .F Interior side yards. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .S Rear yards. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .R Courts. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .0 l (1) Awnings or canopies - not more than three feet F S R C (2) Arbors or trellises where trellises are attached to the principal structure F S _ R C i.: (3) Air conditioning equipment - - not less than 12 feet from indicated lot lines S R C f �I I -2- (4) Fallout shelters - detached R (5) Fences, op.en - not more than 42 inches in height F S R (6) Fences, solid - not more than' 6 feet in height (a) shall be erected only adjacent to patio or terrace areas and private - swimming pools, and (b) - shall be not less than 5 feet from the nearest lot line, or (c) in No- Access Strips.
