AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. G-60
BEING "THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE
OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS, OF 1966"
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois , as follows :
Section 1. That Ordinance No. G-60 , entitled "The Zoning
Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois , of 1966 , " as
amended, be, and hereby is , further amended to read as follows :
(a) Section X, Paragraph B, Subparagraph 3, is amended
to read as follows :
113 . Floor Area Ratio.
Not to exceed 0.45. "
(b) Section XIV, Paragraph B, is hereby amended to add
Subparagraph 45.1 as follows :
"45 .1 ENCLOSED PARKING - Parking which is housed
in a parking structure, or in a portion of
the principal building on a lot, which is
completely under a permanent roof and with
sidewall enclosures so designed as to screen
the parked cars from view from the exterior
of the structure. Completely open wall sec-
tions shall be permitted only for entrance
and exit driveways . Access to all parking
spaces shall be from aisles within the
structure. "
(c) Section XIV, Paragraph B, Subparagraph 104 , is hereby
amended to read as follows :
"104. OFF-STREET PARKING FACILITY - A lot which
is improved and used or a structure which
is designed and used exclusively for the
storage of passenger motor vehicles , either
for accessory off-street parking spaces or
commercial off-street parking spaces.
When the parking structure is an accessory
building, it shall be compatible in appear-
ance with the principal building."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication as required
by law.
