ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. G-11
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND '
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK
BROOK ON THE 18TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1960 ,
AS FROM TIME TO TIME AMENDED
Whereas , the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook did on the 18th day of February, 1960 , adopt "An
Ordinance Establishing Rules and Regulations For The Construction ,
Alteration, Repair and Conversion of Buildings Within The Village
of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois ," known and designated as
Ordinance G-11; and
Whereas, it is the opinion of the President and the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook that all construction in the
Village of Oak Brook, other than single-family residence construc-
tion, should comply with the standards, rules and regulations as set
forth in the "City of Chicago Building Code, Copyrighted 1971" ; and
Whereas , there has been on file with the Village Clerk of the
Village of Oak Brook three (3) copies of said "City of Chicago
Building Code, Copyrighted 1971" for more than thirty (30) days
prior to the adoption of this ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook as follows:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. G-11, passed and approved by
the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook
on the 18th day of February, 1960 , entitled "An Ordinance Establish-
ing Rules and Regulations For The Construction, Alteration, Repair
and Conversion of Buildings Within The Village of Oak Brook, DuPage
County, Illinois" , and any and all amendments thereto, be, and the
same are, hereby amended to delete all references to "Chicago Build-
ing Code, Volume 14, No. 5, Published in June, 1967" , and to insert
and substitute in place thereof "City of Chicago Building Code,
Copyrighted 1971" .
Section 2 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approve and publication as by statute
made and provided.
