AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE
OF SANITARY AND INDUSTRIAL WASTE WATER
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, .
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 : It shall be unlawful for any person , firm or
corporation to discharge or permit or cause to be discharged sanitary
and industrial waste water into any storm sewers constructed as part
of the improvement of 22nd Street ( FAU 9877 ) known as State Section
1975-145-N , FAUS Project M-5003 ( 53) , Village Section 75-00008-00-PW.
Section 2: Any person , firm or corporation violating the provisions
of this ordinance shall be fined not less than FIVE DOLLARS ( $5. 00) nor
more than FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ( $500. 00) for each offense.
Section 3: All ordinances , rules , and regulations of the Village
of Oak Brook which are in conflict with the provisions of this
Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict.
Section 4: If any section , sub-section , sentence , clause , or "
phrase of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid , such
determination shall not affect the validity of any remaining portion
of this Ordinance.
Section 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval , and publication in pamphlet. form as
required by law.
