AN ORDINANCE AMENDING. ORDINANCE G-177 BEING AN ORDINANCE
REGULATING THE USE OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS WITHIN THE
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES , ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of -Oak
Brook deem it in the best interest of the Village of Oak Brook to
regulate the maximum gross weight permitted certain streets within
the Village .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees for the Village of Oak Brook, Du Page and Cook Counties ,
Illinois , that :
SECTION 1. The provisions of the preamble hereinbefore set forth
are ereby restated herein as though herein fully set forth.
SECTION 2 . The maximum gross weight permitted on the below listed
streets is hereby established to be 24,000 lbs . , and Schedule VIII
of Ordinance G-177 is amended by the addition of the following streets
thereto:
Baybrook Lane
Hunt Club Lane
Yorkshire Woods
Twin Oaks Drive
Ernie Pyle Drive
St. Paschal 's Drive
Avenue Loire
SECTION 3. The Village Manager is authorized and directed to cause to
be erected appropriate traffic signs to give notice to the public of
the above imposed restrictions .
SECTION 4. All ordinances , rules , and regulations of the Village of
Oak Brook which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance
are hereby repealed, solely to the extent of the conflict .
SECTION 5 . If any section, sub-section, sentence, clause, or phrase
of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such determination
shall not affect the validity of any remaining portion of this Ordinance.
SECTION 6 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as
required by law.
