AN ORDINANCE MENDING ORDINANCE G-177 BEING AN ORDINANCE
REGULATING THE USE OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS WITHIN THE
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook, Du Page and Cook Counties , Illinois ,
that:
SECTION 1 : Pursuant to Section 1-303 and 1-319 of Ordinance G-177
Schedule XVI of said Ordinance is hereby amended to add the following
intersection to those intersections controlled by traffic signals :
(21) Oak Brook Road (31st Street) at its
intersection with Jorie Boulevard
SECTION 2 : All ordinances , rules , and regulations of the Village of
Oak Brook which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance
are hereby repealed, solely to the extent of the conflict .
SECTION 3.: If any section, sub-section, sentence, clause , or phrase
of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such
determination shall not affect the validity of any remaining portion
of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4 : This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form
as required by law.
