ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE G-177 BEING AN ORDINANCE
REGULATING THE USE OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS WITHIN THE
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authority of the Village of Oak Brook,
through Ordinance S-354 changed the name of one Frontage Road to
St. Paschal' s Drive, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Village of Oak Brook,
Du Page and Cook County, Illinois , that :
SECTION 1 : The provisions of the preamble, hereinbefore set forth
are hereby restated herein as though therein fully setforth.
SECTION 2 : The Corporate Authorities of the Village of Oak Brook
find after reviewing a traffic survey that the maximum speed limit
at the road section described below in Section 3, should be (30 MPH)
thirty miles per hour, and the maximum speed limit at said road
section is hereby established as 30 MPH.
SECTION 3: Pursuant to Section 1-601 of Ordinance G-177 Schedule 1
of said Ordinance is amended to insert the following public roadway:
St. Paschal ' s Drive from Oak Brook Road ) 30 miles per hour
(31st Street) to 35th Street )
SECTION 4 : All ordinances , rules , and regulations of the Village of
Oak Brook which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance
are hereby repealed, solely to the extent of the conflict .
SECTION S : If any section, sub-section, sentence , clause , or phrase
of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such
determination shall not affect the validity of any remaining portion
of this Ordinance .
SECTION 6 : This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form
as required by law.
PASSED and APPROVED by the Preuident and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook this day of
