AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. G-101, AS AMENDED, TO REFER
TO A MORE RECENT EDITION OF THE FIRE PREVENTION CODE AS INCORPOR
ATED THEREIN.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, that:
SECTION 1: The sixth line of SECTION I of Ordinance No. G-101 is hereby amended
by the substitution of the phrase "1976 edition" for the phrase "1970 edition"
contained therein.
SECTION 2: All ordinances, rules and regulations of the Village of Oak Brook
which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed
solely to the extent of the conflict.
SECTION 3: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance
is for any reason held to be invalid, such determination shall not affect the validity
of any remaining portion of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval, and publication as provided by law. This Ordinance shall
be published in pamphlet form.
