G-206 - 01/11/1977 - ZONING - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE REZONING THE TERRITORY COMMONLY KNOWN AS "MAYSLAKE" IN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, the owners of the territory hereinafter described have petitioned the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois for amendments to the Village Zoning Map and a Special Use relating to the said territory; and WHEREAS, a public hearing to receive and consider. testimony on said petition was held, pursuant to statutory public notice, before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook, the record of such �- hearing showing the unique nature of the property and the owners ' .hardship under the present regulations; and :WHEREAS, all appropriate recommendations have -been submitted by the Zoning Board ;of Appeals and the Plan tommission .of =the Village of Oak Brook; and WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Oak Brook deem the passage of this Ordinance to be in the best interest and in furtherance of the general welfare of the Village of Oak Brook. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, as follows: SECTION 1: The provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby restated herein as though herein fully set forth. SECTION 2: The territory legally described in Exhibit A hereto, which by this reference is incorporated herein as though herein fully set forth, shall be and the same is hereby rezoned under the provisions of Ordinance No. G-60, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, to the R-3 Single- Family Detached Residence District . SECTION 3: The territory legally described in Exhibit B hereto, which by this reference is incorporated herein as though herein fully set forth, is hereby granted a Special Use Permit, pursuant to Section VII, E, 2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the ' Village of Oak Brook, for uses set forth in Section VII, C, 2, c of said Zoning Ordinance with a variation to permit said Special Use on a lot of not less than 30 acres. SECTION 4 : The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to indicate the zoning change made by this Ordinance upon the Official Zoning Map of the Village and all other pertinent Village records. SECTION 5 This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as by statute in such cases made and provided. This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form.
