G-228 - 04/11/1978 - STREETS - Ordinances ORDINANCE N0. • .22 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE G-177 BEING AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DUPAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees, Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, that: SECTION 1 . Pursuant to Section 1-904 of Division IX of Ordinance G-177 which provides for the designation of preferential right-of-way at intersections, the Corporate Authorities hereby designate certain streets as having prefer- ential right-ofway, at the intersections indicated in the Village of Oak Brook. SECTION 2. Reference to the following intersections is hereby added to Schedule' V of Ordinance G-177 as follows: Yield Streets: Woodside Drive will yield to Wood Glen Lane SECTION 3. The Village Manager is authorized and directed to cause to be erected appropriate traffic signs. to give notice to the public of the imposed restrictions. SECTION 4. All ordinances, rules, and regulations of the Village of Oak Brook which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed, '~--- solely to the extent of the conflict. SECTION 5. If any section, sub-section, sentence, clause, or phrase of the Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such determination shall not affect the validity of any remaining portion of this Ordinance. SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,age, approval , and publication in pamphlet form as required by law.
