ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION VIII, D 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. G-
60, AS AMENDED, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK
BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, an amendment of the provisions of Paragraph (D) (3) of
Section VIII of Ordinance No. G-60, as Amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Oak Brook, has been proposed by LaSalle National Bank, as Trustee
under Trust No. 49475 and Oak Brook Urban Venture, a Joint Venture of Urban
Investment and Development Co. and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook,
after public hearing pursuant to statutory notice has recommended approval of
said amendment, with certain stipulations, to the President and Board of
Trustees; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has submitted its report on the
proposed amendment to the President and Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees deem the passage of
this Ordinance to be in the best interest and in furtherance of the public health,
safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the Village of Oak Brook.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, that:
SECTION 1: The provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby
restated herein as though herein fully set forth.
SECTION 2: Paragraph (D) (3) of Section VIII of Ordinance No. G-60, as
Amended, the same being the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook,
Illinois, of 1966, is hereby further amended and as so amended shall read in full
�-- as follows:
" (3) Floor Area Ratio: Not to exceed 0.4; provided, however, that with
regard to any increase of floor area over 0.3, not more than 25% of the
permissible floor area in excess of 0.3 shall be devoted to office use as
permitted under paragraph (1) (r) of this Section VIII (D)."
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval, and publication as by statute in such cases made and
provided. This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form.
SECTION 4: All ordinances, rules, and regulations of the Village of Oak Brook
which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed
to the extent of the conflict.
SECTION 5: If any section, subsection, clause, sentence, or phrase of this
Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such determination shall not

affect the validity of any remaining portion of this Ordinance.
